Severe knee pain
My mother was recommended an x-ray of the knee as she started having severe pain in her knee suddenly.. the result of the x-ray is tibial spiking and patellar osteophytes.. please tell me what is this?? is this something dangerous.. kindly explain.. thank you.

Sudden sever pain is not seen in OSTEOARTHRITIS , osteoarthritis shows chronic and gradual pain. If she is having sever pain, She may have Meniscus root tear or post horn meniscus tear. ..pls get done MRI knee and show us. thank u.
