Severe Back Pain
I have back pain since the last 7-8 years due to a couple of accidents, I was doing Yoga and the pain was almost gone. However, after meeting with an accident in January I have been having a very severe back pain and it's only increasing day by day. I did try a few Ayurveda massage treatments but to no use. There is no fracture and the doctor had recommended to go for a physiotherapy if the pain persists. I'm currently not sure what to do. Can you please recommend something?

Hello , Yes it is advised to visit a physiotherapist .as he/she assess you and know the exact reason for your back pain and plan a treatment program for the same. If the pain is due to muscle weakness , then they can know which muscle is weak and show you an exercise to strenghten that muscle with specific exercise. They can give you certain modalities to reduce pain. You may wear a lumbo sacral belt to support your back and reduce pain Avoid lifting heavy objects and always turn side ways when you get up from bed . Take care.
