Serious coughing

Asked for Female, 24 Years

I having serious coughing for the last 2 weeks... Initially it was quite frequently and I could feel the mucus in mu throat. I had a 5 days course of azethral. Though the frequency has reduced drastically, the coughs have become more troublesome. Everytime i cough, specially when lying down, i am having gag reflection and I want to through up

You may try some mucolytic & expectorant syrup, which might help reducing thickness of the sputum. Initially on starting treatment you may feel increased coughing & mucus clearance, but gradually all these problem will subside. Hope this helps :)
