Unlikely to be a heart condition , more of a respiratory issue. Kindly do some steam inhalation, avoid cold drinks , avoiding smoking (if a smoker). If still persists for 3-4 days more get labs done( CBC, ESR, Chest Xray, sputum examination if present). If there is fever with cough get this done earlier and connect.
Cough for 1 week with chest discomfort is most commonly due to throat chest infection or bronchitis, not heart attack.
You can try Steam inhalation,Warm fluids, honey
Avoid cold items. Rest.
If cough persists more than 2 weeks, fever, phlegm, or worsening pain get a Chest X-ray and a CBC
Avoid self starting antibiotics unless prescribed.
