Dear scoliosis of 40 degree Cobb's has to be follow up every 2 year's with spine surgery to assess further worsening of Cobb's angle. As you are skeleton mature spine growth shall not cause rapid increase in Cobb's angle.

Hello there
There are non surgical remedies,corsets and exercises to manage scoliosis ....however as you mentioned the cobb angle as 40° it is comparitively higher and found in less than 0.1% population.
It would be nice if you could upload the xrays/mri of the spine along with reports...for proper guidance and management.
