Frequent tingling in the legs combined with heel pain and pain behind the ankle on waking is a combination that points to two separate but related issues. The tingling is most commonly from Vitamin B12 deficiency or peripheral neuropathy, while the heel and ankle pain first thing in the morning — which eases as you walk — is very characteristic of plantar fasciitis. These can co-exist and together cause significant daily discomfort.
Next Steps
Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation — I can advise on the right blood tests and guide you on treatment for both the tingling and the heel pain together.

Hi, sounds like plantar fasciitis or nerve irritation.  Rest, gentle stretching and supportive shoes usually help ease it.  No immediate worry if no weakness.  Feel free to consult for further guidance.

frequent tingling in the legs, heel pain, and pain behind the ankle—especially when getting out of bed—requires a structured clinical evaluation. Experiencing sharp heel pain during your very first steps in the morning is a classic sign of localized tissue inflammation, but when combined with leg tingling, it points toward an overlapping nerve irritation.
Next Steps
The pain under your heel and behind your ankle when waking up is most commonly caused by Plantar Fasciitis (inflammation of the thick band of tissue supporting your foot arch) or Achilles Tendonitis (irritation of the tendon connecting your calf muscles to your heel bone). These tissues tighten up completely while you rest at night, leading to a sharp, pulling pain the moment you stretch them by stepping onto the floor.
Health Tips
To structurally review the exact location of your heel and ankle pain, check your leg nerve pathways, and provide a clear prescription safe for your lifestyle to stop the tingling and foot pain, please book a full consultation session via my Practo profile."
