Regarding xylocaine 2% jelly use
Sir /ma'am I have been recently operated for fistula in perineal region and I find it very painful to pass stool . I was told that xylocaine 2%jelly can be used 5-10min before passing stool but was not told dosage limit. Kindly guide is it safe to use xylocaine jelly 2% in anal opening before passing stool everyday? I have been told that my wound would take 1.5-2 months to complete heal as Seton is there.
