Regarding too much of medicines
My mother recovered from covid and after that she got fever of 98.6° -99.9°. After blood test and x-ray, doc. found that crp is at 37 and it is bacterial infection on the same spot where viral infection was. initially ct severity was 4. They gave her doxycycline and Amoxicillin cav 625. Amoxicillin cav 625 is prescribed to taken 3 times a day and doxycycline 2 times a day. And 10mg steroids are also given for 7days. Montelukast and levocitrizine and aspirin is also given Won't this too much of antibiotics affect the health of patients? Should I let her continue prescribed medicines or tell her to cut Amoxicillin cav 625 to 2 times a day? What should I do?

Yes there is a lot of medicines given here. But we have to analyse the risk benefit ratio as well. Since the patient was Covid positive with high crp value , initial management with medicines was necessary as the disease is very fatal. However few medicine need to be supervised now. Feel free to consult.
