Variation is normal. Your resting rate would indicate, that you don’t undertake enough exercise. As you increase your exercise levels, your resting heart rate come down nicely. All the best. www.jgsr-health-education.in

A resting heart rate of 85–100 bpm is still within the upper normal range. During sleep, heart rate normally goes down — so below 80 bpm while sleeping is normal. Treatment is usually not needed if: • No palpitations • No chest pain • No breathlessness • No dizziness Common reasons for higher resting pulse: • Anxiety • Stress • Caffeine • Lack of fitness • Poor sleep. If pulse is constantly above 100 at rest or you have symptoms, then evaluation (ECG, thyroid test, etc.) may be needed. Based on your symptoms, this may require proper clinical assessment and prescription. You may book an online consultation with me for detailed evaluation and personalised treatment plan.

For an adult male resting heart rate ranges from 60 to 100 and yours is still under normal range.Yours feels like higher due to any minor reasons like stress, anxiety, recent physical exercise, mild inflammation etc During sleep, your harmone, muscle activity, anxiety everything gets reduced hence less than 80 is completely normal
Next Steps
-Start regular mild physical exercise -sleep and wake at fixed time -drink adequate water -have balanced nutrition You can seek medical attention if you have following symptoms -resting heart rate or sleep heart rate exceeds 100 -chest pain, breathlessness, excessive sweat

It is o.k., pulse rate is variable depending on your activity. So far it stays within normal range and you have no  problem,  there is nothing to worry.

For a 29-year-old male: • Normal resting heart rate: 60–100 bpm • During sleep: usually lower than daytime, often 50–80 bpm If your resting pulse is: • 85–100 bpm at rest •
Next Steps
You should consider evaluation if you have: • Palpitations • Dizziness • Chest pain • Breathlessness • Irregular heartbeat sensation Otherwise: ✔ Check pulse after sitting quietly for 5 minutes ✔ Avoid caffeine before measurement ✔ Track for 1–2 weeks ✔ Consider checking: • Thyroid (TSH) • Hemoglobin • Blood pressure If resting HR is consistently above 100 (true tachycardia), then evaluation is needed.
Health Tips
✔ Improve cardiovascular fitness (30–40 min brisk walk daily) ✔ Hydrate properly ✔ Reduce caffeine/nicotine ✔ Improve sleep quality ✔ Practice slow breathing exercises Often, improving fitness lowers resting heart rate naturally over weeks. If you tell me: • Your weight • Whether you exercise regularly • Any anxiety symptoms I can assess whether this is simple conditioning-related or needs cardiac workup. Booking an online consultation would allow structured cardiovascular risk assessment and personalized guidance for optimizing heart health.

No treatment is required as while resting decrease in heart rate is normal since your body is relaxed.
Next Steps
Try to relax and avoid wearing that watch which is keeping track of all this so that you can actually relax rather than keep checking your vitals
Health Tips
Consult if - you wake with sweat / anxious / difficulty in breathing.
