My mother is 66 yrs old , one of my neighbour gave her a vitc tablet 1000mg + zinc as well in it. Is it advisable to give her or which is the best vit c advisable for her. She also had arthritis and diabetes.

Vitamin C 1000 mcg is ok for her age . Vit C is watersoluble vitamin so excess will be flushed out.Zinc is needed for immunity boosting but the exact doses need to be taken. As per her Vit D levels need to addVit D supplement . Consult me for a proper Diabetic diet with multivitamin
