The presence of persistent redness on the tip of the penis (Glans) and bleeding during sexual activity suggests a condition called Balanoposthitis (inflammation of the glans and foreskin) or a minor anatomical issue like a Short Frenulum (the skin bridge that connects the tip to the foreskin). When this skin is too tight or inflamed, the friction during sex can cause small 'fissures' or tears, leading to pain and bleeding. Clinically, we also need to rule out fungal infections or underlying conditions like Diabetes, which can make the skin more prone to tearing and slow down the healing process."
Next Steps
Urological Physical Exam: You must see a Urologist for a physical examination. They will check if the bleeding is coming from a 'Frenular Tear' or if the skin has become inelastic due to chronic inflammation. Diabetes Screening: As suggested in other opinions, get an HbA1c and Fasting Blood Sugar test. High sugar levels often lead to recurrent fungal infections in this area, making the skin fragile. STI Panel: To be completely safe, a screening for common STIs (like Syphilis or Herpes) is recommended, especially since the redness has persisted for a month
