Penis tip burning
My partner gave me a blowjob for the first time, and we didn’t have any other sex. About half an hour later, I started feeling a burning sensation at the tip of my penis. Please help me to figure out this! Is this any STDs??

Maintain hygiene and apply some hydrating cream or coconut oil. If that doesn’t help in a few days, you can opt for consultation for further assessment.

This sounds more like temporary irritation than an STD. This can happen after oral sex due to friction, saliva, dryness, or sensitivity of the skin. In many cases, it goes away on its own within 1–2 days. It is less common for men to get a UTI, especially without other symptoms, so this is unlikely.
Next Steps
What you can do now: Wash the area gently with clean water (do not scrub or use strong soap). Drink plenty of water. Avoid sexual activity for a day or two. Wear loose underwear. When to be concerned: If the burning lasts more than 48–72 hours, or if you notice: Penile discharge Sores, blisters, or ulcers Fever Pain or burning while urinating Symptoms getting worse instead of better Then you should get checked for further evaluation.

Hello, I am Dr. Romain Rajan, General Physician (Ex Govt Medical Officer at RML Hospital, New Delhi), and your case has been allotted to me. Thank you for sharing this openly. I understand this can be worrying, especially when it happens for the first time. Let me clarify this calmly and clearly. Important reassurance first A burning sensation at the tip of the penis within 30 minutes of oral sex is VERY UNLIKELY to be due to an STD. Sexually transmitted infections do not cause symptoms within minutes or hours. They typically take days to weeks to show any signs. Most likely causes in your case Based on the timing and symptom: • Local irritation or friction during oral sex • Contact irritation from saliva enzymes • Dryness or minor abrasion at the tip • Anxiety and heightened focus on sensations after a first experience All of these are benign and temporary. Why this is not an STD • STDs have an incubation period • Immediate burning suggests surface irritation, not infection • No ulcers, discharge, or swelling reported What you should do now • Wash the area gently with plain water only • Avoid soaps, antiseptics, or excessive cleaning • Do not apply random creams • Avoid sexual activity for a day or two • Drink plenty of water In most cases, the sensation settles within 24 to 48 hours. When to consult a doctor • If burning persists beyond 3 to 4 days • If you develop discharge, sores, blisters, or ulcers • If there is pain while passing urine • If redness or swelling increases At present, there is no indication for STD testing or antibiotics based on what you have described. Please remember that anxiety itself can amplify normal sensations. What you are experiencing is very common and not dangerous. For personalised one to one consultation or if symptoms persist, you can reach out to me directly on WhatsApp at 85271646 seven seven. A detailed discussion helps with reassurance and proper guidance. Wishing you peace of mind and good health. Dr. Romain Rajan General Physician

No this is not a STD. Most if the STD dont oresent like this. They have purulent discharge from tip , ulcers and nodules(chancroids). If you dont have these you do not need to worry. Seems like a activity induced abrasions. Just maintain hygeine by washing the concerned area with warm water and soap.
