Hi, I am Dr. Atul Kumar Nimawat MS ENT.
While garlic may have triggered initial mucosal irritation, persistent symptoms suggest a secondary or unrelated chronic condition. Please consult an ENT specialist or a gastroenterologist for a comprehensive evaluation.
Next Steps
• Avoid irritant foods including raw garlic until symptoms resolve.
• Consider antacid or anti-reflux medications if prescribed.
• Get a thorough ENT and GI evaluation to determine the exact cause.
