Rash like cold sores

Asked for Female, 17 Years

I have rash like cold sores on my lips. I’ve had a colds sore before from not washing hands before I ate after I got home from elementary school but it went away with the right steps. Now I got cold sores that look like a rash on my lip because I kissed my guinea pig and these remedies and the medicines I got from the grocery store aren’t cutting it. I realize also that my restricted diet was not helping it either which I have to change for now. What should I do instead?
