As discussed earlier, your exposure carries low risk, and your partner’s negative test is reassuring. The symptoms you’re describing are not suggestive of HIV. For complete closure, you can do a final HIV 4th generation test at 12 weeks, and if negative, no further testing is needed. No need to worry beyond this. If you have any new or persistent symptoms, we can evaluate them separately.

DOCTORS PLEASE BEWARE
Next Steps
The patient books a consultation takes all the advice, clears all his doubt, and then just cancels the consultation by selecting an inappropriate reason, just so he doesn't have to pay the consultation fees! Has personally happened with me so sharing
Health Tips
SO PLEASE BEWARE Also repeatedly asking the same question again and again Practo should do something about this!

Please avoid posting the same anxiety-based question repeatedly. Multiple doctors have already answered that your symptoms are not suggestive of HIV and proper testing is the only way to confirm. Repeating the same query every week only creates confusion and wastes doctors’ time. Kindly follow one doctor’s advice, get the recommended test, and seek help for health anxiety if needed.

Aapke case me HIV ka risk bahut low hai. Points samjho: 1. Condom use hua tha – break hua, lekin usse pehle protection tha. Risk tab consider hota hai jab unprotected exposure ho. 2. Partner ka HIV test (54th day) negative hai – ye kaafi reassuring hai. Agar wo HIV positive nahi hai to aapko risk practically nahi hai. 3. Gum me ghaav (masude ke sores) – ye HIV ka typical sign nahi hai. Common causes: • Vitamin deficiency (B12, folate) • Local infection / oral hygiene issue • Stress / acidity Aur aapka 5 din me thik ho jaana bhi same suggest karta hai. 4. Sore throat on-off – ye bhi very common hai (viral, allergy, acidity). HIV ka specific sign nahi hai. Important guidance: • Aap ek final HIV test 3 months (90 days) pe kar lo exposure ke baad → confirmation ke liye • Agar wo bhi negative aata hai → 100% clear • Current scenario me high risk nahi hai • Symptoms HIV suggest nahi karte • Final test 3 months pe kara lo aur tension khatam Zyada google mat karo, unnecessary anxiety badh rahi hai
