Dr I was taking escitopalam 10 mg and clonazepam from last three month. I left this medicine. It left me sexual side effect. Two months have not taken any treatment but now was not feeling well. Now i am taking mitrazapine 7.5 mg and zapiz 0.5mg. How can I recover and reverse sexual desire weakness and eryctile dysfunction.

Hello. I understand that you have been discontinued from Escitalopram because of sexual side effects. Mirtazapine is known not to have prominent sexual side effects and hence you have been shifted to it.

The best approach would be to wait and watch. Look for improvement in other symptoms with current treatment and gradually the sexual desire must also improve
