Thanks for sharing your details. Let’s break this down carefully: --- ### 🧪 **TSH = 7.1** Despite Taking Eltroxin 125 mcg for 4 Months * A TSH level of **7.1 µIU/mL** suggests **hypothyroidism is still not under full control**, even with **Eltroxin 125 mcg/day**. * This means either: * The **dose may still be slightly low** for your body’s requirement. * Or the **absorption** of the medicine is poor (e.g., taken with food, tea, calcium/iron). * Or other issues like **stress, gut problems, or chronic inflammation** are interfering. --- ### 📉 **Your Symptoms (Motion Sickness, Imbalance) & Hypothyroidism** Feeling like: * **Imbalance, motion sickness, walking uneasiness** * **Brain fog, vertigo-like symptoms** These can be linked to: 1. **Uncontrolled Hypothyroidism**: Can cause poor coordination, dizziness, fatigue, and poor spatial perception. 2. **Vestibular Dysfunction**: Thyroid hormones affect ear and brain balance centers. 3. **Vitamin B12 or D Deficiency**: Common in hypothyroid patients and causes imbalance, nerve tingling, fatigue. 4. **Low BP or anemia**: Especially if head heaviness or low stamina are also present. --- ### ✅ **What You Should Do** #### 🔹 1. **Get Tests Done Again** Please do a **follow-up thyroid profile**: * **TSH** * **Free T3, Free T4** * **Anti-TPO antibodies** (to check for autoimmune thyroid) * Also check: **Vitamin B12**, **Vitamin D3**, **Hemoglobin (CBC)**, and **BP reading** #### 🔹 2. **Medicine Timing Tips** Make sure you take **Eltroxin correctly**: * **Empty stomach**, 30–45 mins **before food**. * Avoid tea/coffee, **milk, iron or calcium** supplements for at least **1 hour after**. * Avoid skipping doses. #### 🔹 3. **About the Dose (125 mcg)** * **125 mcg is a high dose**, usually for those who have had complete thyroidectomy or long-term hypothyroidism. * If your TSH is **still high after 4 months**, your **dose might be slightly under**, or absorption is poor. * Never adjust on your own — consult your doctor with latest TSH/T3/T4 report. Dose may need to go to 137 mcg or be optimized. --- ### 🌿 **Ayurveda + Lifestyle Support for Hypothyroidism + Dizziness** #### 💊 *Ayurvedic Remedies* 1. ******Guggulu** – 2 tabs twice daily after meals (balances thyroid swelling + detox) 2. ******churna** – ½ tsp at night with warm water or milk (for energy + balance) 3. *****+ *****syrup** – supports brain fog, balance issues > Take these only if your digestion is fine. Avoid if bloated, constipated or weak Agni. #### 🥗 *Diet Tips* * Avoid: Curd at night, soy, refined sugar, gluten (if autoimmune thyroid), and deep-fried foods. * Include: **Moringa leaves**, **drumsticks**, **flax seeds**, **coriander water**, **iodized salt**, **ghee**. --- ### 🧘‍♀️ *Helpful Yoga + Pranayama for Balance & Thyroid* * **Matsyasana**, **Sarvangasana** (under guidance) * **Bhramari pranayama** * **Nadi Shodhana** for balance and hormonal calm --- ### ⚠️ When to Seek Immediate Help If your **imbalance worsens**, or you feel like **falling while walking**, or **vision issues**, consult a neurologist and ENT as well. Rule out **vestibular neuritis** or **BPPV** (benign vertigo). --- Would you like me to help you interpret your next thyroid + vitamin test results and suggest diet or medicine changes accordingly? You’ve been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, don’t worry — with the right treatment and regular monitoring, it can be effectively managed. 🩺 Thyroid medication dosing (typically levothyroxine) is carefully adjusted over time. Our goal is to maintain your TSH level ideally between 2.5 and 3.5, depending on individual clinical needs. ✅ Most people know this medicine should be taken on an empty stomach, but there's another crucial point: 👉 After taking your thyroid medicine, wait at least 45 to 60 minutes before eating or drinking anything other than plain water. This ensures proper absorption of the medicine. If you eat too soon, it may reduce the effectiveness of the dose — leading to poor control of thyroid levels. 📞 If you want you can consult . 📌 Consistency, correct timing, and follow-ups are key to managing hypothyroidism successfully.

If T3, T4 are normal and only tsh is elevated...then u shouldn't take any medicine...instead work on thyroid gland. 7.1 is not too high. If you consume hormone for long time then your thyroid gland will stop working eventually...it's a trap, don't fall for it

Your TSH of 7.1 suggests underactive thyroid despite taking Eltroxin 125 mcg. The dosage may need adjustment. Motion sickness and imbalance could be linked to thyroid imbalance or other causes like inner ear issues. Please consult your doctor to recheck thyroid levels and review dosage.
