PCOS diagnosed and overweight
I'm a 23 yo female, 5'6 tall and weigh 72 kg. I've gained around 15 kgs since the past 2 years. My PCOS is borderline but not receding due to my inability to lose weight. Other than weight, it has also led to a lot of hairfall, dandruff, worsening condition of my otherwise very healthy & voluminous hair and bad acne. I have led a very sedentary lifestyle which has led to other problems such as back pain etc till now but I want to change it. My metabolism has always been on the lower side and I have always been a chubby girl whether or not I was active. I need a good diet plan to lose weight fast and effectively and of course, exercise well (preferably something that can be done at home or walking). I also want to get checked for what kind of food suits me. For instance, I've observed that drinking milk always leads to bloating. I also wanted to enquire more about Keto and PCOS. There seems to be a big clash in what dieticians suggest in this regard and it has been  confusing me a lot.

Hi , PCOS can be cured by good diet and exercise if done properly. Decreasing weight is very important as this stage. I can help you in some weight loss tips such as : * Start eating in smaller plates. * Short meals in regular intervals. *More of water intake. * 30 minutes walk per day. * Eat water 30 minutes before every meal * Avoid water with meals and soon after a meal. * Before having food , eat one full plate of salad. * Consume toned and double toned milk instead of full cream. * Replace unhealthy foods with healthy ones. Also a good balanced diet will help in reducing stress and acne problems. Start doing some exercises. Yoga can surely help you with all this. Also , if milk leads you to bloating then go for milk products such as curd or paneer as all this contains protien and protein rich diet is recommended to PCOS patients. Regards, Godiets.
