Pain in the back of knee
I have patellar tendonitis in my knees and today I slipped and fell down some stairs. I landed on my butt, therefore no direct impact to my knee, however; my knee fully bent very fast and I felt a painful pop behind my knee. The pain as been progressing as the night goes on. I'm worried that I may have torn my PCL? Or maybe pinched a nerve? Please help...

Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day.

You need an assessment by an Orthopaedic Surgeon to look at any ligament injury. Unlikely you would have injured your PCL with that pattern of injury. It is possible you may have injured or torn your meniscus., which is contributing to the pain and swelling. See an Orthopaedic Surgeon for examination and any investigations.
