I am having pain on right side of mouth which comes mostly at night and feels like it might be coming from wisdom tooth, not sure upper or lower as pain comes on both areas. I have a small cavity on my upper wisdom tooth and I am generally experiencing increased sensitivity after 2 sessions of cleaning. What could be the possible cause of the pain?

I suggest you visit a dentist and get a set of x rays done for the areas concerned, to rule out any cause for worry. A little bit of sensitivity is normal after scaling and will usually subside in a week or so. Meanwhile, you may try warm saline rinses 3-4 times a day .
