Hi.. If u would like to know how long u hab been in rehabilitation following acl reconstruction surgery... If u would not taken enough rehabilitation for getting it back to normal following surgery then u are most likely to get such issues as muscles around the knee...supportive muscles from hip and ankle will start working hard to get the normal job done for the knee.. Even now it's time for you to get your knee assessed through a physiotherapist.. ascertain imbalanced muscles and start strengthening the knee and the whole lower body kinematic chain... There will definitely be lot of difference in the Pain and overall functional activities... Pain what you experience could be due to undue stress on the muscles and joint placed during that activity..if ur muscles and joints are not in a position to take such loads it is subjected to wear and tear and leads to pain...
Next Steps
kindly consult a physio and get yourself properly assessed and start your rehab ...and then slowly progress to running...
Health Tips
Don't run untill you are given a go-ahead by a physio after assessment prepare your body for such activities so that you will be comfortable doing it... and don't land in issues...due to undue stress...
