The MRI report of my Knee says that : 1-Mild Knee joint effusion
2-Mucoid degeneration of the posterior horn of the medical meniscus
Can you tell me what does that mean ? and how to relief the pain

Hi ! this is probably due to an old twisting injury to your knee which had given you a tear which did not heal completely. The pain in these cases is typically in sporting, cross legged sitting, squatting and activities demanding pivoting at the knee. This might need an arthroscopic surgery for evaluation of the tear if present and removal/debulking the portion of meniscus giving problems.
