I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing pain in your knee and waist, which is affecting your ability to walk and work. High levels of uric acid, as well as low levels of calcium and vitamin D, can contribute to joint pain and discomfort. In terms of medical professionals to consult, you may consider seeing a rheumatologist or an orthopedic doctor. A rheumatologist specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, including arthritis and gout, which can cause joint pain. An orthopedic doctor specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, including joint pain and injuries. In addition to seeking medical attention, you can also make some lifestyle changes to help manage your symptoms. This may include: Maintaining a healthy weight - excess weight can put extra stress on your joints, exacerbating pain. Incorporating low-impact exercises, such as swimming or cycling, to help improve joint mobility and strength. Eating a balanced diet that includes foods high in calcium, vitamin D, and other nutrients that support bone health. Avoiding foods high in purines, such as red meat, shellfish, and alcohol, which can contribute to uric acid buildup. Taking prescribed medications as directed by your doctor. It's important to work closely with a medical professional to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to your individual needs and medical history. They may also recommend additional tests to better understand the root cause of your pain and develop an effective treatment plan.
