Pain and swelling in Joint

Asked for Female, 48 Years

My mother is suffering from pain on knee and ankle joints. Her knee area is also swelled. The pain is there from long time and recently the swelling started. Currently she is in ayurvedic medicine but if she skip one dose the pain is unbearable. Could anyone please suggest on what to do.its really depressing?
