Ovarian cyst during pregnancy

Asked for Female, 31 Years

I am 9 week pregnant and in my ultrasound there is 9 cm cystic lesion in right ovary. Is there any high risk in my pregnancy . I am scared.

Don't worryy dear! Nothing harm in having this cyst! But also depends on the nature and other characteristics of the cyst! This shouldn't affect the pregnancy ! It can cause pain/discomfort sometimes! So if u have severe pain in abdomen/VOMITING/nausea Then Consult with the consultation with gynecologist earliest for further evaluation information and treatment! Take care Stay safe 🙏! If at all u want it to be removed or u having any SYMPTOMS then 2nd trimester is best time for suregry (12-28 wk pregnancy) Don't worryy Take care Stay safe 🙏
