Hlo doctor, i actually gone through Bimaxillary jaw surgery 40 days ago. And my doctor wired the upper and lower teeth and it is difficult to take food. But he advised me that the wiring will be there for 4months. I shocked i could not open my mouth for 4 months it is too difficult to imagine.By the way iam a cleft patient from India. Can you advise any thing or is it necessary to stay for 4 months with my mouth being shut.
