Hello,
I would suggest the following steps to help in recovery-
1. Consult a Psychiatrist, and continue mediation
2. Ensure adherence to medication
3. Psychotherapy is an integral part of Obsessive compulsive disorder treatment
4. Ask your Psychiatrist and begin with psychotherapy
5. Similar to medication, adherence to psychotherapy is very essential
6. Response in OCD can be a little slow, do not lose hope and most importantly do not stop treatment
7. Provide hope and resilience as a caregiver
8. Be a part of therapy, consider and discuss with your therapist the concept of co-therapist
9. Regular follow up with the Psychiatrist and discussion regarding improvement and further options if required
Hope this helps you. Best wishes for your health and future.
