Prolonged Bleeding pv after every menses as chief complain from 5 yrs it's not a normal issue by my side . Please make sure her to visit a Gyne clinic from suffering past 5 yrs . As per your question you didn't tell other associated symptoms by which I can assess and recommend to you for most preferable tests to diagnose. But don't worry , when you visit a clinic. Atleast done test of CBC , USG pelvic , Urine RM , Hormonal assay . Because in the case of bleeding it have many causes likely AUB, DUB ( Fibroid)
Next Steps
Take proper rest and visit near by clinic . Take Iron tab . If any other associated symptoms that should also have given treatment. In case of More bleeding and not possible to go clinic so can take Tranexemic acid tab BD .
Health Tips
Take proper medication and assess that bleeding not occur in that way after menses .

Based on the history, this condition fits more with menorrhagia rather than epimenorrhea. In menorrhagia, the menstrual cycles remain regular ( between 25-30 days), but the bleeding is excessive or lasts longer than normal. In epimenorrhea, the cycles themselves are too frequent, occurring every 12-15 days, which is not the case here(this is my consideration) •In a normal menstrual cycle, one hormone called estrogen- helps the lining of the uterus grow & become thick.  After the egg is released, another hormone called progesterone helps stabilize this lining & allows it to shed in a regular, controlled way as normal periods.  Sometimes, egg is not released. When this happens, progesterone is not produced& estrogen keeps acting alone.  This causes the uterine lining to become overgrown & weak.  Cause it is weak, ( there is no progesterone to stabilize it) this lining starts breaking down, leading to heavy, prolonged bleeding. Over time, repeated blood loss causes weakness& tiredness •According to Ayurveda, this condition occurs due to excess heat (Pitta) along with disturbance of Apana Vata, which controls menstruation.  Increased Pitta affects the blood & uterus, leading to excessive bleeding, while disturbed Vata causes the flow to become irregular & prolonged. •Basic Investigations Pelvic USG  Thyroid profile  CBC (Helps to rule out PCOS, fibroids, endometriosis, thyroid dysfunction, & to assess hemoglobin status)
Next Steps
Treatment include - To cool the system strengthen the uterus balance hormones naturally follow a proper diet and adequate rest yoga, Pranayama, & meditation for stress control
Health Tips
Please consult a ayur gynecologist or an experienced Ayurvedic practitioner as soon as possible. Proper investigations are needed to rule out underlying causes. Meanwhile, you can start taking "ASHOKARISHTA" which helps balance hormones & control excessive bleeding
