Nauseated after taking escitalopram 10mg
My doctor recently prescribed me escitalopram 10mg once at night for my anxiety issues. The problem is that after taking it, i feel more nauseous and have a heavy feel on chest which feels like vomit. He has also prescribed clonazepam 0.5 once at night which makes me relax but doesn't solve this nausea problem. I tried taking ondem, and it somewhat helped me but later get to know that it has interactions with escitalopram. My question is that is it safe to take ondem for nausea while i am on escitalopram, though i know this thing is temporary and the symptoms will resolve as the body starts absorbing escitalopram, but for now it is really hard. Please help.

It has to be gradually titrated, few get nausea when it is started at 10mg. You can discuss with him or get a second opinion

It is best to review your medications for tolerance. I suggest to consult a psychiatrist for the same.

You can take Ondem or Pan-D with Escitalopram. No problem with that. But if the issue persists, its better to change the class of the drug. Consult if the problem persists despite taking Ondem.
