Nasal congestion
Hello doctor ... I'm Bishal , age 22, from Kolkata ... I've been suffering from nasal congestion since two weeks ... And also using nasal drops i,e. Otrivin Oxy Plus  for more than two weeks . Now I'm getting blocked nose constantly or more often ... What can i do now ... I also have a special occasion tomorrow . Can i use it only for today . Cause my nose blocked . I can't breath properly . What should I use now . That is more safe?

Otrivin should not be used for long periods. Best to get seen physically so that the mucosa of your nose can be seen to get an idea about why you have congestion.

Blocked nose may be caused by simple rhinitis which may get relieved in a week or so with medication. However if have recurrent nose blockage, it may be due to allergic rhinitis. So it needs proper history and clinical evaluation. Since you have some special occasion tomorrow, I suggest you to take Tab. Wikoryl twice daily, Tab Allegra-M at bed time to get immediate relief. However this needs proper evaluation.
