Nail coming out of toe - discoloration
My toenail is partially coming out, and the skin underneath appears yellow and black. The toe also looks swollen. Could this be a pus infection or something else? It is also paining with or without touch..we came back from a week holiday last night and realised it today.

Hi, The discoloration of nail seen here looks like chronic fungal infection of the nail that might have started long ago...but now the added pain can be due to secondary bacterial infection of nail folds causing pain.
Next Steps
Needs in-person visit for detailed examination and confirmation
Health Tips
Avoid wearing occlusive footwears like shoes, socks. Also avoid wet work as that can increase the infection
