My daughter scratched her vaginal area

My daughter is 2y11m old. She goes to preschool and potty trained. Sometimes she feels lot of itching in her vaginal area and scratch there. I give her warm water wash over that area without soap. I change her under pants twice a day. Today before her evening shower, she scratched roughly and started to bleed in that area. She cried a little and stopped after I gently poured luke warm water to wash the blood. Gave her shower, wore clean cloth and put her to sleep.
