Regardless of Corona, it is integral for you to keep an eye on your baby's growth, development and vaccinations. If you have gone for baby's regular vaccinations, the weight would have been checked there. If not, best you take adequate precautions, and go to a less crowded hospital/clinic/centre. Unless it is confirmed baby is underweight, there is nothing to be worried about and baby should not be over fed. If absolutely unable to go to a centre, you may approximately check the weight of baby by measuring yours first and then yours and baby's together and then subtracting. At 5 months, we can expect baby to be around 6-8kgs.
Health Tips
1) Continue breastfeeding 2) Start complementary food when baby is about 6 months old. 3) Only supplement that is required is Vit D drops (400IU/ml) 1 ml once a day.
