My baby is almost 5 months old and passing loose foamy stool now in green color. He is taking tasiron already of 1 ml daily then vit d at night 0.5 ml. He has been doing green poop a lot from some days but the color changes to yellow also many times. He is active playing well bht gets distracted while feeding when heis awake making feeding difficult and feeds well while sleepy and in sleep. Is there any concern with the foamy green stool and is it normal ?also is it normal that at this age baby poops like little to moderate around 20 times jn the day . He is exclusively on breastfeeding only

Green stool in exclusively breastfed babies is common and usually not a concern if baby is active and feeding.
Foamy green stools can be due to foremilk–hindmilk imbalance, not infection.
But passing stools ~20 times/day is on higher side. If baby is otherwise active, passing urine well and gaining weight, usually ok.
Try ensuring baby feeds from one breast completely before switching.
No need to worry about color changes between green and yellow.
If there is blood in stool, fever, poor feeding or poor weight gain, then consultation is needed!

It is normal. No need to worry unless he is passing watery stools. Stop tasiron for a week and see if his stools reduce. Visit a pediatrician for check up.

Is the stool every time he passes is minimal quantity~10-15ml approx ? Or more than that ?
What is his weight ?
If its minimal quantity and baby weight is normal and active and playful no need to worry just use probiotics for few days , stool consistency and frequency will be settled , if stool and more quantity and not gaining weight and not so active and playful , consult asap

5-month-old exclusively breastfed infant passing foamy green stool up to 20 times daily while being active and playing. This stool appearance and frequency in a breastfeeding baby can be consistent with several possibilities, such as a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance, a mild viral infection, or a food sensitivity to something in the mother's diet. While green stool can be normal, pooping 20 times a day at five months is frequent and requires evaluation to ensure proper weight gain and hydration
