I have diagnosed MTBC postive, my DR prescribed r.cinex600, combutol 1gm, pyzina 750mg, benedon 40mg, and qmezon 20mg. Am feeling little pain in my chest and abdomen. I informed my DR about my pain but no use,Dr asked me to continue the medicine. Now my question is that all the tablets are necessary to treat MTBC. THANK YOU.

Hi,
Going by your queries..you have been started on anti tubercular therapy(ATT). Based on organ involved, resistance patterns etc. duration of the treatment is decided.
On starting ATT, there may be mild abdominal discomfort or nausea etc which subsides on its own or may require symptomatic treatment.
On ATT we also need to monitor liver function test to check for its side effects.
Important thing in TB treatment is to take ATT daily. Good compliance to ATT is important to cure this disease.
