This injection is beneficial to relieve the pain ,but for only a stipulated period of time. We need to actually treat the cause..Is it a disc prolapse or tight hamstring that's causing radiation to leg?MRI reports will give clarification.. Need to take a call accordingly.. You should consider conservative treatment first, if that fails to give you relief you should consider injection. This injections are effective but short lived and can make you dependent on them. Consult a physiotherapist.
