Does this report mean I don't have anal fistula.
I had two abscesses a year back both times resolved with antibiotics no surgical drainage was required.
I don't have any issues since then but live in constant overthinking that what if I have a fistula.

If your report clearly mentions âno signs of fistula,â it strongly indicates that you do not have an Anal fistula at present. Radiological reports (especially MRI or similar imaging) are quite reliable in detecting fistulous tracts. Also, your history supports thisâepisodes of Perianal abscess that resolved completely with antibiotics and without surgical drainage are less likely to progress into a fistula. Typically, fistulas are suspected when abscesses are recurrent, require drainage, or are followed by persistent discharge, pain, or a non-healing opening. Since youâve had no symptoms for a year, that further reduces the likelihood significantly.
However, your main issue now seems to be persistent overthinking rather than an ongoing disease. Living in constant fear despite a normal report is not medically justified and can affect your overall well-being.
Next Steps
At this point, you should trust the report and your symptom-free period. There is no indication for concern unless new symptoms develop, such as pain, swelling, discharge, or recurrent abscess. Instead of repeatedly worrying about âwhat if,â shift your focus to monitoring your body rationally. Health Tips
To prevent recurrence of Perianal abscess or related conditions, maintain good bowel habitsâavoid constipation and straining, stay hydrated, and include fiber-rich foods in your diet. Maintain local hygiene and avoid prolonged sitting in sweaty or unclean conditions. From an Ayurvedic perspective, keeping Apana Vata balanced and preventing Dushti in the anorectal region is key. Most importantly, manage anxiety and overanalysis, because unnecessary stress can create more discomfort than the condition itself. Thank you

Every kind of fistula can be treated and cure so dont worry
Currently you have no active fistula . But there is a possibility if done the reasons for that. To avoid that you have to avoid prolonged sitting, food like pickles, sour items etc
âBased on your historyâabscesses resolved with antibiotics, no need for drainage, and no symptoms for a yearâthe chances of an active fistula are very low. Absence of ongoing discharge, pain or swelling is a good sign. Overthinking is common in such cases. Still, a clinical examination can give complete reassurance.
