What you’re describing sounds like recurrent aphthous stomatitis / oral mucositis, most likely triggered or worsened by: 1. Irritation from methi (fenugreek) water • Methi is hot, bitter, and irritating to oral mucosa in some people • Can cause chemical irritation + dryness 2. Underlying nutritional deficiency • Very commonly Vitamin B12, folate, iron, or zinc deficiency • Especially if ulcers are: • Multiple • Painful • Burning • Making eating difficult 3. Hormonal sensitivity • Since methi helped periods, your body is clearly hormonally responsive • Hormonal shifts can precipitate mouth ulcers This is NOT dangerous, NOT cancer, and NOT an infection — but it will not heal unless treated properly.
Next Steps
You should do both treatment + correction of cause. Immediate medicines (safe & effective) You can start these now: 1. Hexigel / Dologel CT / Zytee RB gel • Apply 3–4 times daily • Especially before meals • Reduces pain and speeds healing 2. B-complex with Zinc • Example: Becosules / Neurobion Forte • Once daily after food for 4–6 weeks 3. Vitamin B12 • If oral only: Methylcobalamin 1500 mcg daily • (Tablets are enough initially) 4. Warm saline gargles • 2–3 times daily You should do both treatment + correction of cause. Warm saline gargles • 2–3 times daily STOP for now • Methi water • Spicy, sour, very hot food • Mouthwashes containing alcohol • Excess brushing of tongue
Health Tips
• Drink plenty of water (dry mouth delays healing) • Use a soft toothbrush • Avoid toothpaste with SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) if possible • Ulcers usually heal in 7–10 days once the trigger is removed • If ulcers persist beyond 4 weeks, blood tests are needed: • CBC • Vitamin B12 • Iron profile When to worry (rare) • Ulcer not healing after 4 weeks • Hard edges or bleeding without touch • Weight loss or fever

Dear Patient, Mouth ulcers for 3 weeks with soreness and multiple tiny spots usually occur due to acidity, nutritional deficiency (especially Vitamin B12, folic acid, iron), hormonal changes, stress, or irritation from certain foods or herbal drinks. The methi drink may have triggered acidity or mucosal irritation, which can lead to ulcers in sensitive individuals. Medicines • Hexigel oral gel or Dologel CT — apply locally over ulcers 3 to 4 times daily after food • Becosules Z or any Vitamin B complex with Zinc — once daily for 3 to 4 weeks • If severe pain —  (Vitamin C) once daily can help healing • Pantoprazole before breakfast for 7 to 10 days if acidity symptoms are present Diet and care • Avoid spicy, sour, very hot foods, citrus fruits, and fried items • Avoid methi drink temporarily • Take soft bland diet, curd, coconut water • Drink plenty of water • Maintain oral hygiene and use a soft toothbrush Important points • Most recurrent mouth ulcers are due to vitamin deficiency or acidity • Healing usually occurs within 7 to 10 days once treatment starts • If ulcers keep recurring frequently, blood tests for B12 and iron may be needed Consult me if ulcers persist beyond 10 to 14 days, there is fever, difficulty swallowing, or severe pain. For proper evaluation and complete treatment guidance you can text me on practo anytime.
