This looks like a typical mouth ulcer with local swelling. It can occur due to stress, minor trauma like lip bite, acidity, or vitamin deficiency.
If pain is severe, swelling increases, or it does not improve within 7 days, it’s better to get evaluated for proper treatment. You can consult me for further management.
This looks like a painful mouth ulcer/aphthous ulcer with local swelling. It is usually due to stress, minor trauma (lip bite), acidity, low B12/iron/folate, or infection. For relief: use warm salt-water rinses 3–4 times daily, avoid spicy/hot foods, maintain hydration, and use a topical oral ulcer gel/paste as advised by a doctor/pharmacist. If pain is severe or eating is difficult
Next Steps
please book a consultation for proper treatment and prescription. Seek urgent dental/medical care if fever, pus, rapidly increasing swelling, trouble swallowing, or ulcers lasting more than 2 weeks occur.
"The presence of painful mouth ulcers with local swelling is most commonly a result of Aphthous Stomatitis, often triggered by high stress, spicy foods, or a deficiency in key nutrients like Vitamin B12, Iron, and Folic Acid. Since you are having significant difficulty eating, the immediate goal is to provide local pain relief while addressing the root cause to prevent recurrence
