Mobile Addiction
Hello, my brother is suffering from the addiction of mobile phone and I am very sure of it. He uses it for more than 10 hours per day. He is wasting his time and his life. Rather than mobile phone, I would say Internet addiction. When we have no Internet connection he doesn't even touch the phone. I'm very concerned about him. Please do tell some solution for his mobile addiction. Thank you.

Hi, I am sorry that this is happening in your family and I am sure it is making you feel helpless. Addiction to a mobile phone is generally coming from this space of meaninglessness and emptiness in life. It’s also a ready solution to a void all feelings that we feel. These feelings are somewhere stored in the subconscious and once we heal them your brother will be able to be in a position to organically find passions in life he feels truly connected to. That way he will have goals to fulfil and he will have no time to touch his phone mindlessly. Wishing you both the best in life!
Next Steps
Connect your brother with me and we will work towards healing his subconscious. Love and healing ❤️‍

How to get rid of phone/internet addiction? By increasing your social interactions and relationships in the real world. Spending time with family and friends without the fear of being judged. I agree it's not easy as it sounds - but this is reality. The more you interact with people around you, the least stressful your future is. I’ll give a simple example - Someone I know got involved in a sex chat with a random girl online. He’s married and thinks this is not betrayal since he doesn’t have physical sex on the internet. He convinced himself that he’s loyal to his wife and there’s nothing harm to satisfy his desires online. But what he didn’t realize is that he got soo addicted that he started disassociating himself from his wife emotionally. They spent very little time together, the pleasure of real-life intimacy was completely lost. This… reflected in taking family responsibilities, misunderstandings, doesn’t show up when needed emotional support, etc. Now they’re living life together without emotional attachment but still, the husband thinks it's not betrayal. So … the best way to get rid of phone addiction is by increasing your social interactions and relationships in the real world. Hiding your phone, app lock, setting timer, etc will push you to find other ways to get addicted. That’s not a permanent solution. Reality rewards lately, but that’s permanent, far better than instant.

Hi ,  you told that when the internet is not available he doesn't touch the phone.Addicted people usually show anxiety and anger when not able to use it .what about your brother? If he can stay without touching the phone you cut the internet connection for a few hours daily.Getting help from a psychologist for assessment and dealing with problems associated with addiction is good
