It’s understandable to feel concerned when your appetite remains low and gaining weight is a challenge.
- At your age, it’s important to investigate all possible reasons—sometimes, issues like thyroid problems, digestive conditions, or vitamin shortages can affect your hunger and weight. That’s why a complete health check-up is a good first step.
-Eating foods that pack a lot of nutrition into small amounts—like nuts, seeds, paneer, eggs, and whole grains—can help you get more energy and nutrients without needing to eat large meals. You can also add healthy oils or nut butters to your food for extra calories.
- If stress or emotions are affecting your appetite, talking to a counsellor can really help.
-As a dietitian, I can guide you in understanding what’s causing your low appetite, create a plan with tasty, nourishing meals, and support you every step of the way.
