Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times

If the pain is not continuous then exercises is the mantra . Try strengthening your core muscles. I will post one of my video here try doing those exercises.

It's important to know the nature of your occupation whether it is sedantry or it includes more of Physical exertion.We would like to know if you ever had any trauma or direct hit to your back. Apart from trauma and direct blow, there could be many other causes of your back pain. Back pain is just a symptom and not a disease entity. Pain in back now a days is common because of sedantry lifestyle and lack of exercises.So you need to focus on your posture and healthly lifestyle. And as your pain is acute you can go for cold packs.
Greetings, sorry about the pain. You are suffering from stiff hamstring muscle. stretch hamstring muscle right away to see 60% reduction in pain. Icing at painful area plus hamstring muscles give more pain relief.

I think you need some back and core strengthening exercises,and some hamstring stretches should help you,also take some hot Pack's your pain should subside considerably in a week's time.
U should start using hot pack on ur back. Start taking small breaks when u sit for long. Better to get up after every 1hr. Avoid forward bending. Also visit to the Physiotherapist near by.
