Low rbc and low hb
My mother age 55 years have been anaemic since last 15 year . she is on high bp medication and thyroid medication(thyronorm 88 mcg). Her hb level remain in between 7 to 9. And her rbc (2.85 million cell per mm3) is also in low levels. Why is it so? Its been more than 15 years she have this levels. No other disease  history

Complete blood picture related to iron and haemoglobin is desirable Anaemia is caused due to varied reasons like iron/vitamin/minerals deficiency, worm infection, anamolies in iron absorption etc
