Your HDL is low and triglycerides are elevated. Lifestyle changes such as regular exercise, weight control, reducing sugars and refined carbohydrates, and avoiding alcohol are important.
Next Steps
Feel free to consult for further evaluation and treatment plan.
Health Tips
Medication may be required depending on your complete lipid profile and risk factors.

Your HDL of 34 is low (ideal is above 40 for men) and triglycerides at 296 are significantly elevated — this combination increases cardiovascular risk and is often linked to a sedentary lifestyle, high-carb diet, or metabolic syndrome. Regarding high altitude trekking — with elevated triglycerides and low HDL, you are at a slightly higher cardiovascular risk at altitude where oxygen is reduced, so it is important to get this treated first before undertaking strenuous high-altitude activity.
Next Steps
Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation — I can review your complete lipid profile and advise on the right treatment and whether trekking is safe for you at this stage.

Yes if no other symptoms,  no high b.p or diabetes or heart problem,  you can go for high altitude trek. Even if you have, control it good with meds and go ahead. For high triglycerides,  take fat free, low sugar, diet. Tab Rosuvastatin 5mg daily after dinner for 4 werks, then repeat test for triglycerides

Hi, low HDL with raised triglycerides is common and improves with lifestyle changes.  Focus on regular exercise, healthy fats, less sugar and carbs this can help balance it nicely.  High altitude treks are usually fine if you feel well, but start gradually.  Feel free to consult for further guidance.

You asked if high-altitude treks can be done with these lipid levels. Having elevated triglycerides alone does not completely ban you from trekking, but high altitudes place massive mechanical and oxygen-deprivation stress on your heart and lungs. Before embarking on a strenuous trek, it is medically essential to ensure that these high circulating fats have not caused any underlying, silent blockages in your coronary arteries.
Next Steps
To structurally analyze your complete fasting lipid parameters, review your cardiac stress test results side-by-side, and provide a safe, target-specific prescription to optimize your cholesterol levels for your upcoming travel, please book a full consultation session via my Practo profile."
