How did the pain start?? In which occupation are you into?is the intensity of pain increasing or is it still the same while bending and sitting? Is the pain only localised to your back ? Or is it radiating to your butt and thighs and lower leg? There are may problems that cause the same problem. So it should be examined properly. -For time being you need to lye down on your tummy ask someone to pack an ice pack on your painful area for 10-15mints. Repeat this for multiple times a day. - lye on your back with knees bent, place a towel below your lower back and try pressing on the towel. Hold the position for 10sec repeat for 10 times twice to thrice daily. -lye down on your back with knees bent. By keeping your upper body stable move both the knees to each side. Maintain each position for 10 sec repeat 10times 2twice daily. -lye on your back with knees bent and then lift your back off the bed so that your head trunk and knees are in line. Do not use a pillow for your head while going this exercise. - cat and camel exercise: come on your knees ( the elephant pose) and then slowly bend your spine and lift your head up so that it looks like a bow. Hold on this cat position for 10sec. Now try to look down and raise your back .like a hump on your back. Hold on for 10sec repeat 10times twice daily.
Next Steps
If you have radiating pain or pain in butt or its increasing you need to get it checked.
Health Tips
As of now go with icing and proper rest. keep a pillow below your knees while sleeping. and a pillow behind your lower back while sitting. don't bee in one position for long time. do not bend and lift heavy things.
