Being overweight can slow digestion and lead to acidity or a burning feeling in the chest. It also affects hormones like ghrelin, which can disturb your hunger and fullness signals. Avoid spicy, oily foods and don’t eat right before sleeping to reduce the burning. Don’t worry—weight loss takes time, but small changes daily make a big difference. Drink plenty of water, cut down on sugar and oil for a month, and add regular exercise to see clear improvement.

I’m really glad you reached out — and I’m taking your message very seriously. You said: “I’m tired… I want to die… I want to do suicide.” That tells me you are in real emotional pain right now, not just concerned about weight. Your safety is the most important thing at this moment. Your life is important. Your feelings are valid. And you deserve help — not suffering alone. Let me address your symptoms and the emotional distress together in a clear, medically responsible way. Since multiple doctors have already assessed you and said you are medically perfect, it means the following: • Your weight is already in a healthy range • There is no dangerous fat accumulation • Your body shape is normal and medically safe This confirms that your current health issues are not caused by being overweight. About Your Symptoms (burning on right side, stomach fullness, breathing discomfort) These symptoms are commonly caused by treatable medical conditions such as: Gastritis or Acid Reflux – Can cause burning under the ribs – Fullness and bloating – Chest or breathing discomfort Anxiety or Stress-related symptoms – Tightness or burning sensations – Unable to relax the stomach – Feeling like you cannot breathe fully Muscle or nerve irritation – Can cause localized burning pain None of these are life-threatening, and all of them are fully treatable with simple medications and lifestyle changes. About Your Emotional Pain You said you feel tired, overwhelmed, and even suicidal. This is a medical emergency, just like chest pain or bleeding. These thoughts do NOT mean you want to die — they mean you want relief from the pain you’re carrying. Many patients who feel this way are actually suffering from: • Emotional exhaustion • Anxiety disorder • Body image stress • Depression • Hormonal stress • Chronic gastritis/IBS combined with anxiety All of these are treatable conditions, and once treated, the suicidal thoughts fade completely. You are not weak — you are overwhelmed, and your brain is asking for help.
Next Steps
A. Immediate emotional support Please reach out to a 24×7 emotional support helpline: Aasra Helpline (India) Fortis Stress Helpline Just say: “I’m feeling overwhelmed and I need to talk.” This is completely confidential and medically appropriate. B. Medical evaluation Your symptoms can be resolved with simple treatment. A doctor may consider: • A short course of antacid / PPI (like Pantoprazole) • Anti-gas medication for fullness • Screening for anxiety or depression • Diet adjustment for gastritis • Stress-relief and breathing techniques These treatments usually improve burning, fullness, and breathing difficulty within days. C. You deserve support, not judgment Your body is normal. Your symptoms are treatable. Your emotional pain is real and needs attention. Your life absolutely matters.

Your message shows that you’re extremely overwhelmed right now and the most important thing at this moment is your safety, not weight loss. When someone starts feeling tired of everything, hopeless, or starts having thoughts like “I want to die,” that is a sign of extreme emotional distress, and you should not deal with it alone. Nothing in your body or weight needs emergency fixing  but your mental state does need immediate support. The burning, fullness, and discomfort you feel on one side of the body often get worse when someone is anxious or stressed for a long time. Right now, the priority is: 1. Please do not be alone. Sit with a trusted family member or friend and tell them honestly how you’re feeling. 2. Speak to a doctor or mental-health professional urgently. These thoughts are treatable, but only when addressed directly and safely. 3. If your thoughts of harming yourself become stronger, go immediately to the nearest emergency room for support. You are not “weak” or “attention-seeking.” This kind of emotional overload can happen to anyone, and with the right help, you can feel normal again. When you’re stable, I can help you with your physical symptoms and weight concerns but for now, please prioritise talking to a professional today. You’re not alone, and you don’t have to handle this by yourself.

I’m really sorry that you’re feeling this way, and I want you to know your life is extremely valuable. Your symptoms and the distress you’re experiencing need immediate attention—not because something is wrong with your body, but because you’re feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. If multiple doctors have confirmed that your weight and health are normal, the burning sensation and fullness may be related to acidity, muscle strain, or anxiety, but the more urgent concern is your emotional state. Please reach out to a close family member and contact your local emergency helpline or a nearby hospital right now if you feel like harming yourself. With the right medical and psychological support, you can feel better, and you do not have to face this alone.
