Loose motions for 2 half months baby

My baby 2 and half months loose motions. 4 or 5 times.10daysback consulted doctor.he was given some powderafter 5 days motions are controlled.again after 5 days today started motions 5times. What are remedial measures for breast baby .

Number of stools is NOT important for 1 st 3-4 months of life,it can vary from 10-12 a day to 1 motion every 2-3 days. What's important is the consistency of stools,it should be soft and formed. Just ensure breastfeeding at regular intervals and hygiene.
