Widal test titres are needed to confirm it as typhoid fever... Blood culture and sensitivity testing if done before antibiotic treatment is the best option But if already on treatment with antibiotics please do continue without failing for at least 10 days to avoid chronic carrier state ( in which that bacteria sits in your gall bladder)
