Leg nail infection
I have infection beside my nail in leg, pain increasing and swelling even upon used antibiotics as per doctor advise. Nurse removed puss by cut a little on wound area. Can any doctor suggest which specialist should I consult or how to cure this infection? I don't understood how it came and not able to find the solution to reduce the pain.

Which specialist to consult : General surgeon – for wound evaluation, possible drainage, and deeper cleaning.
Apply T-Bact Ointment (Mupirocin 2%) 3 times a day after cleaning the wound with warm saline.
Augmentin 625 mg 1-0-1 for 7 days
Warm water soaks with Betadine 2–3 times a day
Keep the foot elevated to reduce swelling.

General surgeon.
With antibiotics add
Zerodol sp three times a day after food for five. Montek lc.
Hot fomentation with boric powder two times. Squeeze to remove pus.
Locally after cleaning with betadine solution apply t bact ointment + fucidine ointment in 1:1 ratio. Sprinkle neosporine powder.
