Knee swelling
My husband, 34 yrs, His knee swelled after sitting his legs crossed for two hours continuously. He is unable to walk from next day. Initially he was prescribed jointlace tablet along with painkillers. If he takes rest he us fine, but when he starts to walk, he gets pain and swelling. We went to another Ortho doc and after an x Ray and blood test he has recommended a steroid injection depo medrol. His ESR shows 70 mm per hr. Why is the ESR do high and is the steroid injection advicable. Kindly help with your suggestions.
